Behind the notebook
An engineer, taking notes.
This is my corner of the internet for software, hardware, and the questions that tend to connect the two.
Why a notebook?
The finished thing is only part of the story. This is a place to keep the questions, decisions, false starts, and useful discoveries that happen along the way.
My interests here span software, electronics, reverse engineering, and practical tools. The common thread is curiosity about how things work, and whether they could work a little differently.
What you’ll find here
Project write-ups and engineering notes, with room for honest failures and unanswered questions. Missing evidence stays missing until there’s something real to put in its place.
A good place to start is the Kenwood XS8 project. It began with a simple question. Naturally.
